These SMS Messaging Terms govern text messages sent through HailTrigger by Retrolection LLC and the roofing contractors who use the platform (each, a “Sender”). They apply to every text a Sender sends you through the platform — whether you opted in through one of our forms or a Sender reached you as part of the storm-damage outreach described below.
Program description
You may receive SMS text messages about roof inspections, storm-damage outreach, storm-related inspection offers, appointment scheduling and reminders, and related account or service updates from a Sender.
How we may contact you
A Sender may text you on one of two bases:
You opted in. You checked the SMS consent box on a public booking or inquiry form (see “How you opt in (consent)” below).
Storm-damage outreach. Following a significant storm, a roofing contractor may text property owners in the affected area about a roof inspection, using contact information obtained from lawful sources and scrubbed against the National and applicable state Do-Not-Call registries before any message is sent.
In either case, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP (see “How you opt out”). Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
How you opt in (consent)
You provide consent by selecting the applicable checkbox on a public booking or inquiry form. Both checkboxes are unchecked by default. Appointment/service consent and marketing consent are separate, and selecting the service-text checkbox does not enroll you in marketing messages. The current disclosures say:

How you opt out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. After you opt out, you will stop receiving messages across all of a Sender’s campaigns. You may receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To rejoin, opt in again using one of the methods above.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions and the related campaign or appointment activity (for example, replies, scheduling, and reminders).
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are set by your wireless carrier and are your responsibility. HailTrigger does not charge you for receiving or sending these messages.
Supported carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include the major U.S. wireless carriers and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier and device availability; we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.
Privacy
We handle your mobile information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your opt-in and consent data is never shared with any third parties.
Changes
We may update these SMS Messaging Terms; changes are effective when posted, as shown by the “Last updated” date above.
