This Privacy Policy explains how Retrolection LLC (“HailTrigger,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information in connection with the https://hailtrigger.com website and the HailTrigger service (the “Service”).

- Account & contact details — name, business name, email, phone number, and billing information when you create an account or request a demo.
- Communications — messages you send us and support requests.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and similar analytics, including via cookies and similar technologies.
Information processed on behalf of our customers
Our customers (roofing contractors) use the Service to manage outreach to property owners. In doing so, the Service processes property, contact, and messaging data — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in/opt-out records — on the customer’s behalf and under the customer’s instructions. For that data, the customer is the controller and is responsible for its lawful collection and use.
2. How we use information
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- process transactions and send service-related communications;
- respond to inquiries and provide support;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information
Where you provide a mobile number, you may separately opt in to appointment/service texts or inspection-offer marketing texts. Selecting appointment/service consent does not enroll you in marketing messages. The following apply to our SMS program:
- Message frequency varies based on your interactions and the related campaign or appointment activity.
- Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. See our SMS Messaging Terms for full details on consent, opt-out, and supported carriers.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services (such as message delivery and customer service) is permitted solely to operate the messaging program. All other categories of data sharing exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers / subprocessors who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, message delivery, and payment processing), under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing those services;
- with the customer on whose behalf data is processed;
- to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security; and
- in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to this Policy.
As stated above, mobile opt-in and consent data is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (including records evidencing consent and opt-out), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your choices and rights
- Marketing & SMS — opt out of texts by replying STOP; opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.
- Access, correction, deletion — depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at privacy@hailtrigger.com. For data processed on a customer’s behalf, we will refer your request to that customer.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Changes are effective when posted, as indicated by the “Last updated” date above.
